TESTAMENT is strongly rumored to have been added to the upcoming summer tour featuring HEAVEN AND HELL, JUDAS PRIEST and MOTRHEAD (as previously reported by BLABBERMOUTH.NET on January 17 and March 22). It should be noted, however, that this information has not yet been corrobated by an official source and should be considered a rumor only at this point.
A brand new TESTAMENT track, entitled "More Than Meets The Eye", has been posted on the group's MySpace page. The song comes off the group's forthcoming album, "The Formation of Damnation", due in North America on April 29 via Nuclear Blast Records.
The band recorded the effort in part with producer Andy Sneap (MACHINE HEAD, EXODUS, ARCH ENEMY, NEVERMORE) at Fantasy Studios in Berkeley, California.
Prosthetic Records has just re-released TESTAMENT's "First Strike Still Deadly" album. Originally issued in 2001 on Spitfire Records, the updated version features new artwork.
